Динамика развития медиаиндустрии России в 2000-2014 гг.: общие тренды и взаимосвязь с макроэкономическими показателями

The instrumental methods of data analysis widely used in economic studies are not very common for media industry studies. However, it is hard to underestimate the influence of the developments in national economy and its individual branches on the media. The first step to forecast the dynamics of the media industry is to understand this relationship. In order to answer the question of how the macroeconomic situation in general affects the media industry, the author conducted a statistical analysis of the joint dynamics of some macroeconomic indicators and those of the Russian media industry over the past 15 years.
