The monograph, covering the period from ancient times to the twentieth century, examines issues of the ethnic history and culture of the Yukaghirs. The monograph contains an attempt to systematize existing scientific, popular science theories on the study of the historical past of this ancient people of North-East Russia, and to introduce some of the results of new research to solve the “Yukaghir” problem.
The book is intended for ethnographers, historians, philologists, cultural experts, local historians and anyone interested in the history and culture of the peoples of the North-East of Russia.
