HSE Scientists Train Neural Network to 'Hear' Faults in Electric Motors
Researchers at the AI and Digital Science Institute of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science have developed a new method—the Signature-Guided Data Augmentation (SGDA) framework—that achieves 99% accuracy in motor fault detection and 86% accuracy in fault classification. The application of this approach can reduce industrial equipment repair costs, minimise downtime, and improve production safety. The study results have been published in Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.

BPM в действии

Директор информационной службы. 2007. № 2.
Белайчук А. А., Вагнер Ю. Б.

Process management, as a way to radically increase business competitiveness in a modern, customer-oriented economy, is gaining more and more supporters.

The principles on which BPM systems are built are very different from traditional ideas about software development. This causes controversy among experts, lively discussions in the press and on Internet forums. And the stumbling block in these discussions is often the lack of examples of real processes. Most articles are limited to theory or provide diagrams of abstract processes. It seems that there is no BPM practice in our country at all. This is not so - there are examples of automating business processes, but companies are simply not trying to make them available to the masses. And this is understandable: the business processes of an enterprise are classified information, know-how, something that allows you to gain a competitive advantage. To fill the gap, we will talk about a real business process managed by a BPM system.
