Исследовательская и проектная деятельность учащихся в современной России: перспективная рефлексия

The article gives a brief overview of the development of research and project activities of students from local initiatives to mass educational practice over the past 30 years in Russia. An outline of modern trends and current discussions among professionals engaged in students’ research and project activities is presented. The paper also demonstrates the main variety of the most outstanding examples and activities in the field of inquiry-based and project-based learning. The major problem areas are highlighted and their promising solutions are described for the development of research and project activities of students in general and additional education from kindergarten to high school.
