The article analyzes the laws and regulations in the field of labor adopted in Russia in connection with the coronavirus epidemic. Attention is drawn to the problems of non-compliance of a number of regulations with the norms of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the uncertainty of the concepts of remote and remote work, the introduction of new terms and categories that do not have a clear definition, which creates the ground for misinterpretation and violation of the rights of employers and employees. Taking into account the further development of the pandemic situation, it is proposed to discuss the creation of new legal institutions, which it is advisable to include in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation in the order of special measures in emergency situations and sanitary and epidemiological requirements. The proposals of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the union “Business Russia” and the association of entrepreneurs “Support of Russia” to the Russian Government to support domestic business in order to prevent the bankruptcy of enterprises and reduce the risk of unemployment.
