Что слышит поэт? Бродский и поэтика перекличек
Why did the poet, starting a poem, ask M. L. Gasparov, chooses this particular size, and not another? The purpose of the book is to show that a poem often arises as a response to another poem, which the poet may not guess. Meanwhile, the verse form "remembers" its pretexts. The sections of the book, formed from independent articles, are united by a common plot — rhythmic roll calls that connect Brodsky's poems with the poems of predecessors,
contemporaries and poets of the new generation. Getting into someone else's diction, to recreate the intonation of the predecessor means to continue communicating with someone who was and remained a poetic interlocutor for the author. The book is addressed to specialists in the poetics of verse, Russian poetry, students and undergraduates of philological faculties, as well as anyone interested in the semantics of the poetic form.
