The article describes the development of an expedition-quest on historical sites in the vicinity of Ryzhkovo village, Zhukovsky district, Kaluga oblast (region). The materials of the expedition are presented, including a map and a task for students. Also, the process of the quest is illustrated as well as brief descriptions of historical objects that were used as its locations.
