The article examines modern Russian authors A.V. Ivanov and D. A. Glukhovsky, whose works contain elements of magical realism. The analysis of the artistic features of their works is carried out on the example of the historical novel "The Heart of Parma" by Ivanov and the script for the multi-part film "Swamps" by Glukhovsky. The article reveals the chronotope features of magical realism, which the authors rely on when working with this method.
