HSE Economists Use Search Queries to Forecast Birth Rates
Researchers from the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences have shown that the accuracy of birth rate forecasts for Russia can be improved by almost 50% by incorporating the dynamics of online search queries related to pregnancy and childbirth into forecasting models. In the best-performing models, the forecasting error fell from 4.6% to 3.2%. The findings have been published in Populations and Economics.

HSE Researchers Discover Who Eats Out in Russia-And Why
Around one-third of Russians (31.3%) rarely eat out or buy ready-made meals. The core group of active consumers—those who eat out or purchase prepared food almost every day or several times a week—accounts for only about 9% of the population. These are the findings of a study conducted by the HSE Institute for Social Policy. According to the researchers eating out is no longer a marker of high social status in Russia.

С. 44–49.
Zamyatin D.

Cartography of human thinking and action is one of the essential features of human ontologies. Mapping can be considered as one of the basic ontological models of imagination, formed in the course of human evolution and contributed to the development of human terrestrial space. Any mapping can be the basis for both deterritorialization and reterritorialization of individuals and human communities. Phenomenologies of various corporealities create opportunities for the construction of both immanent cartographies focused on identifying the di„erentiations of terrestrial space in the context of multiple ontologies, and transcendent cartographies aimed at forming a single ontological reality. Cartographic discourses as such are a phenomenological “bridge” between corporealities and planetarities. ke languages of individual cartographies form diverse spaces of …at ontologies. ke accelerating multiplication of “…at” ontics demonstrates the direct phenomenological fusion of the near and the distant in cartography—dynamic techno-assemblages that transform the uniqueness of corporeal geo-ontologies into a multiplicity of non-matching planetarities. Posthumanism presupposes a multiplicity of contingent events that form their own co-spatial cartographies of imagination. Maps and cartographies within the geo-cosmographic imagination are contingent assemblages resulting in the procedural formation of …at ontologies. Transplanetarity is an essential ontological condition for the formation of cartographic assemblages. Cartographic assemblage presupposes a multiplicity of contingent co-spatialities that do not correspond with each other but leave potential possibilities for constructing new cartographies of the imagination in gxed ontological gaps. ke essence of terrestrial mapping lies in the meta-localization of multiple simultaneous planetarities, the constant reproducible imagination of which creates the possibilities of transplanetary co-spatialities

Zamyatin D., Социологическое обозрение 2025 Т. 24 № 2 С. 101–136
The post-city, in the context of co-spatiality, is a meta-assemblage. Post-urban assemblage can be represented as a meta-geo-culture, whose local singularity turns out to be constantly transformed. The ontologies of post-urban geo-cultural assemblages (PUGCA) are reproduced as "floating" fields of the corresponding cartographies of the imagination. The post-city represents a pulsating cross-border of mobile settlement ...

Any literary text is an act of ontological development of new territories. Culture, being always local, can develop the same territories more than once in physical terms – based on the epoch of its development, as well as on the geo-cultural transformationsof these territories. The process of literary colonization means multiplication of geocultural processes, as ...
