PROSPECTS FOR TRANSLATION DEVELOPMENT IN RUSSIA: OCCUPATIONAL STANDARD AS A TRIGGER FOR NEWER PROFESSIONAL TRACKS
Modern translation as a multifunctional end-to-end industry guides a request for an urgent transformation of the profession with an emphasis on its highly convergent nature. In this regard, the project-didactic approach in educational methods and programs introduces new trajectories of training translation personnel. Today, the key prospects for the implementation of the basic conceptual ideas of the professional standard of a specialist in the field of translation are being crystallized, and there is an obvious necessity to create effective platforms for testing the document in the educational field of the Russian Federation. It is the didactic method of project-based learning and the idea of the fundamental nature of research activity as a core skill shaping the basis for further synergetic development of the translator’s profession that provide ample opportunities for the promising development of both the translation industry in particular and the cross-cultural communication environment as a whole.
