The capitalization of a company and the assessment of its value are one of the most important factors for the successful implementation of various sustainable development strategies. The choice of methods and models for assessing the value of a company, as well as the indicators used in them, is an urgent problem in the modern domestic and global economy. Due to the fact that valuation is an integral tool in a market economy, there is an increasing need for a correct and objective assessment of the value of companies and businesses in general. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to analyze modern methods for assessing the value of a company and multipliers for assessing capitalization, as well as to provide this information to managers of Russian companies in order to select effective sustainable development strategies.
