Великобритания в системе глобального экономического управления: смена стратегии
The article analyzes the conditions of international competition that determine the policy of Great Britain within the framework of the institutions of global governance. After leaving the EU, the UK is revising its foreign economic strategy. Having lost the opportunity to participate in the development of European economic policy, it will become a recipient of the norms formed by the EU and other major players. The UK is forced to spend resources on solving procedural and technical problems without claiming leadership positions in international organizations. The author concludes that in the current circumstances the UK lacks institutional levers for the implementation of global ambitions and that in the foreseeable future its main efforts will be aimed at minimizing economic losses.
