Взаимодействие волонтеров в социальных сетях: кейс олимпийский волонтеров после игр
This article is about the interaction of participants in the Olympic volunteer program, which was implemented in Russia after the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Based on the interactions of the Olympic volunteers on social media, we will study the issue of maintaining the integrity of the volunteer community after the Games. The Olympic Volunteer Program is one of the first comprehensive volunteer work programs that has been implemented at the federal level for a few years in Russia. Participants in this program not only voluntarily took part in the organization and conduct of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, without direct monetary remuneration, but also went through lengthy selection and training processes. In total, the Olympic cycle for volunteers lasted about 3-4 years. However, the short-term nature of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and hence the practice of Olympic volunteering, can lead to the formation of short-term social contacts among volunteers. Based on an online survey of volunteers and an analysis of their interactions in social networks, we investigate how volunteers maintain social contacts acquired during their participation in the Olympic and Paralympic Games after the events. Based on the results of the study, we found that participants in the volunteer program of a major sporting event prefer to use social networks as a tool for maintaining social contacts acquired during volunteer work. However, volunteers do not often interact with each other 5 years or more after the event, but they interact on a wide range of issues and everyday topics.
