Меняющаяся роль культурного наследия: культурная биография одной русской народной песни
One of the most well known Russian folk songs nowadays, once was sang only by local peasants of Belgorod region. In the middle of the XX-th century the song was brought to town by folklorists and since then became well known among the professional musicians who transferred it into different genres. This made the song a symbol of national and ethnic identity, a part of commercial music projects and advertising. Cultural biography of one particular song is observed in the context of social history of folklore in Russia. The author analyses the ideological values of the phenomena, the interest of the state and cultural or professional communities, all connected with collecting, performing of the folklore and it’s functioning, and the cultural, political and technological contexts of folklore’s social history in Russia.
