The article is devoted to freelancers as a new social group that has been developing over the past few decades. On the basis of various relevant empirical data, including a census of freelancers in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2019, were allocated values and norms freelancers and the analysis of their dynamics. The main values considered in the article: freedom, autonomy, selfrealization, independence of thoughts and actions. In particular, a comparative analysis of the values and norms of freelancers with workers of traditional forms of employment is carried out.
