The article reveals the peculiarities of the linguistic representation of the ideas about posthumous space in the phraseology of Perm dialects. The internal form of the expressions is revealed through the linguo-semiotic analysis, the main directions of which are the establishment of the associative-figurative bases of the concept “death”, their temporary attribution and culturally significant features. The solution of these questions concerning the local structure of the universal concept determines the novelty of the presented research and conditions its topicality in the light of the problems of the regional humanities.
