Психологическое благополучие пользователей социальных сетей с разным уровнем вовлеченности
The article proposes to use the concept of "involvement" to describe the behavior and emotional state of social network sites (SNS) users. At the first stage of the study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with SNS users (N = 27). Based on the phenomenological analysis of the interview texts high and low levels of involvement, three levels of involvement were distinguished and a complex criterion for distinguishing levels of involvement, including objective, subjective and intersubjective components, was proposed. At the second stage of the study, using qualitative and quantitative methodology, a comparison was made between contrast SNS user groups with low and high levels of involvement (N = 50). An analysis of the interview texts showed that the users of these groups differ in their activity, emotional, and content-semantic aspects of being on the SNS. Users with a high level of involvement demonstrate significantly lower levels of subjective happiness and life satisfaction, as well as significantly higher levels of alienation in all spheres of life than SNS users with a low level of involvement. The proposed criteria for identifying levels of involvement can be used as a screening tool to identify the risk of SNS addiction.
