Consideration of the functioning of the legal regime of green bonds is highly relevant due to a number of characteristic features of the functioning of the domestic economy and economic thought. Among them, there is a high need for financing necessary modern environmental projects on the territory of the Russian Federation, the development of the bond market as one of the most promising markets for sectoral investments, as well as a small amount of consideration in the domestic economic literature of research on green bonds as a financial instrument that requires special legal regime.
