The book is devoted to the history of the formation of the constitutional institution of the head of state in Spain (XIX-XX centuries). It is based on an analysis of more than 250 legal acts and demonstrates the contribution of Spanish law to the history of constitutionalism by the formation of the concept, form and content of the institution of the head of state.
