The missionary field of the Russian Orthodox Church is characterized by considerable ethno-cultural diversity. The formation of missionary ethno-cultural strategies is an extremely urgent task, the solution of which will expand forms and methods of the modern Orthodox mission. It will effectively optimize missionaries’ activities and ensure the continuity of the Orthodox tradition and methodology, which will let avoid spontaneity and situational planning of missionary activity in an ethno-cultural context.
