Working with personal changes associated with crucial life events

Basing on the literature and qualitative research, we assumed that at least a part of crucial life events is associated with changes of the “principles of internal organization” of a personality. In psychological practice it would be important to distinguish between 1) tipping events within one stage of development and 2) tipping events as markers of points of change in the principles of the organization of consciousness. The process of global changes of a person (his ideas about himself and the world) takes place in three stages: a) external changes due to objective life events; b) internal changes due to the process of understanding; C) external changes due to conscious effort.
