Cluster expansion of the resolvent for the Schrödinger operator on non-percolating graphs with applications to Simon-Spencer type theorem and localization
Journal of Spectral Theory. 2017. Vol. 7. No. 3. P. 733-770.
Molchanov S., Zheng L.
The paper contains a generalization of the well-known 1D results on the absence of the a.c. spectrum (in the spirit of the Simon-Spencer theorem) and localization to the wide class of "non-percolating" graphs, which include the Sierpiński lattice and quasi 1D trees. The main tools are cluster expansion of the resolvent and real analytic techniques (Kolmogorov's lemma and similar estimates).

In the present paper, we describe an approach to thermodynamics that does not involve Bogolyubov chains or Gibbs ensembles. We present isotherms, isochores, and isobars of various pure gases, as well as binodals, i.e., lines along which gas becomes liquid, and spinodals (endpoints of isotherms). We study supercritical phenomena for values of temperature and pressure ...

We consider a Laplacian on periodic discrete graphs. Its spectrum consists of a finite
number of bands. In a class of periodic 1-forms, i.e., functions defined on edges of
the periodic graph, we introduce a subclass of minimal forms with a minimal number
I of edges in their supports on the period. We obtain a specific decomposition of ...

In this work, values of the fractal dimension and the connectivity index characterizing the structure of Hall conductivities on the night side of the auroral ionosphere are derived in general form. Restrictions imposed on fractal structure of the ionospheric conductivity are analyzed in terms of the percolation of the ionospheric Hall currents. It is shown ...

Let $Q_L = [-L, L]^2$ be a square in the plane $\mathbb{R}^2$. We consider the hard-core model with arbitrary boundary conditions in which a random set of non-intersecting unit disks (i.e., a packing) with centers in $Q_L$ is sampled. The density of the packing is controlled by the intensity parameter $\lambda$ (in the same way ...

In this study we deliver an overview of clusters model development in leading world economies and their historical path. It was demonstrated that the existence of a strong agglomeration of firms is not the only component of the region: beyond the economic dimension, there are factors of social and cultural history which affect the community ...

We describe a class of integrable systems on Poisson submanifolds of the affine Poisson-Lie groups PGLˆ(N), which can be enumerated by cyclically irreducible elements the co-extended affine Weyl groups (Wˆ×Wˆ)♯. Their phase spaces admit cluster coordinates, whereas the integrals of motion are cluster functions. We show, that this class of integrable systems coincides with the ...

A society is a medium with a complex structure of one-to-one relations between people. Those could be relations between friends, wife-husband relationships, relations between business partners, and so on. At a certain level of analysis, a society can be regarded as a gigantic maze constituted of one-to-one relationships between people. From a physical standpoint it ...

A general approach to measure statistical uncertainty of different filtration techniques for market network analysis is proposed. Two measures of statistical uncertainty are introduced and discussed. It is well known that every module M over the algebra ℒ(X) of operators on a finite-dimensional space X can be represented as the tensor product of X by some vector space E, M ≅ = E ⊗ X. We generalize this assertion to the case of topological modules by proving that if X is a stereotype space with the stereotype approximation property, then for each stereotype module M over the ...

We study a family of nonautonomous generalized Liénard-type equations. We consider the equivalence problem via the generalized Sundman transformations between this family of equations and type-I Painlevé–Gambier equations. As a result, we find four criteria of equivalence, which give four integrable families of Liénard-type equations. We demonstrate that these criteria can be used to construct ...
