The collection of papers, prepared following the international academic conference, addresses theoretical facets of the notion of “state sovereignty”, historical traditions of nation-states’ struggling for preserving sovereignty as well as transformation of this concept in the age of globalization. A series of articles deals with the legacy of G.V. Chicherin in foreign policy. The publication is intended for experts in international relations, historians and everyone who is interested in foreign policy issues.
