Инструментальная и ценностная рациональность в позитивной педагогике О. Конта
In "A course of positive philosophy" [1830-1842] Comte quite share rationalistic belief of thinkers of Enlightement that "moral progress will always accompany intellectual progress". Therefore all attempts of justification of education through sciences at it are followed by moral rhetoric because, according to Comte, "sciences are the only spiritual basis" of societies. Sciences allow to restore, on his belief, the lost social unity and to construct societas à l'universitas, that is to pass from scientific universality to universality of the human race. Thus, it is possible to speak about some kind of scientific reincarnation of Catholicism.
Comte is convinced that the scientific rationality represents the finished form of development of spirit. Being a product of reason, sciences find both mind, and a valuable order from which the reason in the reasonings proceeds.
