This article is focused on the analysis of the rhetoric of the print media, which were published on the Korean Peninsula from 1945 until 1948. The main goal is to find out the persuasive techniques used in the articles of the pro-American newspapers. Besides, the article defines the role of the newspapers in the political process, the level of the influence on the audience and the degree of newspapers credibility.
