Filatova I. I.
The article analyses the policy of the African National Congress, South Africa's ruling party, aimed at the redistribution of property and oppotrunities in favour of the African majority. The goal of this policy is the speedy inclrease of the weath and well being of the African population, which was subjected to racial discrimination and exploitation for hundreds of years. However, so far the methods which the party chose in order to correct historic injustice, have not delivered the desired results. Moreover, they have undermined the economy of the country, the very basis of any possible future development.
