The identification of the probability distribution type for some algorithms working hours is proposed to carry out based on the asymmetry and excess coefficients. The multitudes are marked out on the coordinate plane "the asymmetry coefficient - the excess coefficient", conforming to the most widely used probability distributions. Some of these multitudes are isolated from the others, allowing to identify with greater certainty the distribution extract type with the values of the asymmetry and excess coefficients from this multitude. Other multitudes intersect (for example, an area corresponding to the beta-distribution comprises linesgenerated by the Poisson and Weibull distribution families, binomial and some other), so that more than one suitable distribution can select for some extract. However, even in this case, there are not more than three or four suitable distribution version for the same extract.
