Development of a remotely controlled hexapod robot
P. 208–210.
The article is devoted to the creation of a remote-controlled hexapod robot, capable of a natural response to environmental change and other physical influences. Moreover, the robot has an option to enhance its functional capability by connecting of the additional modules (such as camera, distance sensors, motion, etc.). Owing to this, the robot can obtain additional skills and reactions to external influences. In addition to offline operation, hexapod has the ability to remote control via a mobile application using Bluetooth technology and Wi-Fi.

Most of conventional controllers are prone to consume more computational time for controlling a wheeled humanoid robot. A nonlinear trajectory control of a wheeled humanoid robot using a model-based controller with less computational load and energy consumption is presented in this article. The upper body of the humanoid robot consists of two 6 degrees of ...

Abstract—An approach to the control of robots behavior based on the emotion and temperament mechanism is proposed. It is shown that these psychological features can be simulated fairly simply. The proposed emotionnbased architecture of the robot control system leans upon the Simonov informational theory of emotions, while the specific features of temperament are reduced to ...

This work explores a perspective on robotic behavior control based on mechanisms that are traditionally implicated in generation of emotions and temperament in humans. It is demonstrated that these complex psychological phenomena can be imitated by very simple means. At the heart of the emotional component of the robot’s architecture is Simonov’s Information Theory of ...
