Article is devoted to a problem of interaction between meter and language by the distribution of iambic versifcation in the different traditions. The results of this research allow to judge that in the course of transfer of sillabotonicism from one tradition into another there is a process of the clarification of iambic poetry and the interaction between meter and language becomes closer.
