The article deals with the necessity of improving the quality of training highly qualified personnel in metrology and metrological assurance of nanoindustry. It gives an analysis of the general problems of metrological education and the problems related to adopted professional standards for engineer-metrologist in nanotechnology. The ways of solving existing problems are proposed. It is given an example of successful implementation of the cooperation of the university and enterprise in the field of metrology training staff nanotechnology industry.
