This volume presents the results of the first season of a Turkish–Russian–French research project at Parion, one of the most important Greek poleis on the southern shore of the Propontis, in the northern Troad. Archaeological excavations were carried out in July and August 2021 as part of an international project devoted to the multidisciplinary study of the site. During that season, structures and cultural layers belonging to the final phase of occupation, dated to the ninth–eleventh centuries AD, were discovered and fully investigated. They are the subject of the present publication.
