Финансовая резильентность в условиях макроэкономической нестабильности: адаптация и психометрическая проверка шкалы на российской выборке
Justification. In the context of the continuing macroeconomic uncertainty in the Russian economy, the ability of the population to withstand financial shocks is becoming a critical factor in individual well-being and socio-economic stability. The financial resilience construct is used in foreign literature to describe this ability, but it remains poorly understood in Russian science, and there are no reliable tools for quantifying it.
The purpose of this work is to adapt the Financial Resilience Scale in the Russian sample (Oliveira et al., 2024) and empirically verify the interrelationships between its components and the population's attitude to monetary policy.
Materials and methods. The study was performed on a sample of 321 respondents (M = 37.9; SD = 11.5). Along with the adaptable scale, the author's questionnaire on attitudes to monetary policy, methods for diagnosing financial self-efficacy, personality traits, and dispositional optimism were used. Exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis (Spearman's r-analysis) were used.
Results. The results obtained allow us to conclude that the adapted version of the scale reproduces the 3-factor structure of the original ("Saving behavior", "Financial inclusion", "Ability to cope with difficulties") with indicators of internal consistency α = 0.811, ω = 0.819. The point about the presence of a bank account is excluded due to the cross-load and culturalspecific ambiguity of interpretation. Correlation analysis revealed significant positive associations of trust in the Central Bank with savings behavior and coping ability, as well as significant correlations of inflation expectations and behavioral response to the key rate with components of resilience.
Conclusions. An adapted scale can be recommended for diagnosing the financial vulnerability of the population, evaluating financial education programs, and monitoring the socio-economic consequences of monetary policy. The data obtained indicate that institutional trust acts as a psychological resource that reduces uncertainty and contributes to the formation of long-term financial strategies, which opens up prospects for further research on the role of macroeconomic expectations in shaping the financial stability of households.
