Проблемы возрастной маркировки на российских телеканалах
The article presents the results of an empirical study conducted in January—February 2018, which aimed to identify how Russian TV channels comply with the requirements of the law "On the Protection of Children from information harmful to their health and development." More than 45,000 broadcast elements (TV programs, movies, series, cartoons, etc.) that aired in early 2018 have been analyzed. It turned out that more than half of them did not have age markings. Often, TV channels used the "16+" label, although its use in the interval from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. is a violation of the law; at the same time, the placement of information programs labeled "18+" on the air proceeded without violations. The results obtained allow us to conclude that it is necessary to improve this law and train personnel for its competent use in the practice of broadcasting.
