Measurement of B(Bs0 → D/D̄X) with Bs Hadronic Tagging
In the Belle experiment, the branching fractions for inclusive decays of Bs0 mesons into D mesons are measured using the hadron tagging method. The results are obtained using a data sample with a total luminosity of 121.4 fb−1 collected at the energy of the Υ(5S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric electron–positron collider. We obtain B(Bs0 → Ds± X) = (68.6 ± 7.2 ± 4.0)%, B(Bs0 → D0 /D̄0 X) = (21.5 ± 6.1 ± 1.8)%, and B(Bs0 → D± X) = (12.6 ± 4.6 ± 1.3)%. The branching fractions for the inclusive decays into Ds± and D0 /D̄0 are consistent with previous Belle measurements. The new value of B(Bs0 → Ds± X) allows us to obtain the energy dependence of e+ e− → Bs0 B̄s0 X cross section and Bs0 mesons’ production rate at the energy of the Υ(5S) resonance, fs = (21.4+1.5 −1.4 )%, with more accuracy.
