Толковый словарь русской разговорной речи. Вып. 6, дополнительный, часть 1: А-И
The dictionary provides a description of the vocabulary of modern Russian colloquial speech. The dictionary is experimental and, unlike most academic dictionaries, is not prescriptive. The authors' goal was to reflect as fully as possible, in dictionary form, the semantic, grammatical, collocational, and stylistic properties of the lexical and phraseological means used in the everyday speech of modern urban dwellers, as well as the specifics of their usage in various situations of informal, unprepared spontaneous communication. The material for the dictionary comprises recordings of spoken Russian from the second half of the 20th century to the first quarter of the 21st century, contemporary fiction, journalism, the press, television and radio broadcasts, film scripts, various genres of internet communication (blogs, forums, chats, etc.), as well as the Russian National Corpus (RNC).
The principles for selecting the dictionary material, and the forms and methods of its lexicographic presentation, are described in the preface to the 1st issue of this dictionary (Moscow, 2014).
Part one of the sixth issue contains about 2,000 dictionary entries.
The publication is intended primarily for lexicographers and specialists in the study of Russian colloquial speech, as well as for representatives of other linguistic specializations. The dictionary may also be useful to native speakers who, while not professionally connected with language, are interested in the issues of the Russian language, its development, and its current state.
