Тюрко-монгольские пословицы и поговорки как отражение средневекового права и политико-правовых реалий
The article is an attempt of the analysis of legal proverbs and sayings of Turkic and Mongol peoples as a source reflecting medieval law and political-legal realities of Turkic-Mongol states. The author correlates the content of proverbs and sayings with data of legal monuments and other historical sources and finds that meaning of such paroemias could have been interpreted incorrectly before, and offers their new interpretation. In his opinion these proverbs and sayings could reflect elements of state and legal systems of medieval Turkic-Mongol khanates – the Mongol Empire, its uluses and states subsequently founded in their place. Thus, the value and importance of legal proverbs and sayings grows substantially as they could reflect both the attitude of people towards state authorities and legal institutions and political and legal realities. The results of the research could be used for the further studies in the field of legal anthropology and paremiology as well as for interdisciplinary studies.
