CIKM '25: Proceedings of the 34th ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management
It is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 2025 ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM 2025). CIKM has long served as a premier annual forum for researchers and practitioners worldwide, rotating across different locations each year. We are delighted that, for the very first time, CIKM will take place in Seoul, South Korea, on November 10-14, 2025. Seoul, the country's over 600-year-old capital, is a vibrant hub of economic, technological, and cultural activities at the heart of Asia. As the world moves beyond the challenges of COVID-19, this year's conference comes at a perfect moment to exchange ideas, spark collaboration, and strengthen our global research community.
CIKM 2025 marks the 34th edition of the conference and continues to be the premier venue focused on the management of both structured and unstructured data. It welcomes research contributions across the core subfields of Computer Science, including databases, information retrieval, and knowledge management, as well as broader areas such as data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, covering both foundational work and applications. As in previous years, the program features Workshops, Tutorials, PhD Symposium, Industry Day, and AnalytiCup competitions. Papers are solicited in five tracks: full research papers, short research papers, applied research papers, resource papers, and demonstration papers.
This year's conference program includes presentations of accepted papers alongside 10 tutorials, 14 workshops, and 3 keynote talks. The PhD Symposium will bring together senior researchers and emerging scholars, highlighting the contributions of early-career researchers that will shape tomorrow's research landscape. The call for papers attracted submissions from all continents. The table below reports the reviewing and acceptance information. For the main paper tracks, we received 2,761 submissions (an 11% increase over last year) and accepted 810 submissions, with an acceptance rate of 29%. Detailed statistics for the main paper tracks.
