Влияние энергоперехода на глобальный экономический рост на примере стран «Большой двадцатки»
The article examines the role of the G20 countries in the new energy transition and its impact on global economic growth. The relationship between these two processes is the subject of the article. The work uses data on the updated World Bank methodology for calculating gross domestic product per capita at purchasing power parity in constant prices of 2021, as well as the energy balances of the G20 countries in 2000–2023, which allows us to assess the real economic changes that have occurred with the G20 countries, taking into account the energy transition that has begun. An important place in the study is given to the Russian Federation, it is considered in comparison with the developed and developing countries of the G20, since it demonstrates the dynamics of change that are unusual for both groups of countries. The work allows us to trace the change in priorities in the consumption of energy resources in the first quarter of the 21st century and the degree of their correlation with the level of economic development of the country. As a result, the hypothesis about the presence of a medium-strength relationship between the structure of the energy balance and welfare was confirmed. At the same time, it is noted that the developing countries of the G20 demonstrate higher rates of economic growth and are more actively increasing the use of renewable energy sources
