This textbook offers the full course of the criminal process as an academic discipline stipulated by the requirements of the federal educational standard of higher education in the field of study 40.03.01 “Jurisprudence” (bachelor's degree). The textbook covers the general part of the criminal process, pretrial and judicial proceedings, special procedure for criminal proceedings, and international cooperation in the field of criminal procedural relations and reflects the recent changes in the criminal procedure legislation. Using plenty of theoretical sources, judicial and other practices and foreign experience, the authors offer new insights into several areas of legal science. The content isillustrated with diagrams, drawings and photographs, each chapter contains methodological materials (tasks, questions for discussion, etc.). The legislation is as of September 1, 2019. The textbook will be widely read by specialists and students of law schools as well as specialized police officers, procurators, investigators and other law enforcement officials.
