Поэтический сборник «Звукоподобие» и рецепция творчества К.К. Вагинова во второй половине ХХ в.
The article examines the particularities of the reception of Konstantin
Vaginov’s last collection of poems Zvukopodobie in the 1960s–1990s. Since the book
of poems was not completed during the author’s lifetime, it remained unknown to the
general reader and researcher for many years. It was distributed in lists and copies
made by the author’s widow, Aleksandra Vaginova, as well as by the author’s friends
and acquaintances. This created a situation where the main text of the collection
does not exist, which is confirmed by the list of sources with a brief characterization
given in the article. The discovery of Zvukopodobie in the 1960s was significant
both for readers familiarizing themselves with the work of the forgotten poet and for
researchers who used the collection to legitimize Vaginov in the history of Soviet
literature. The article identifies two main scenarios of such legitimization. The first,
the representation of Vaginov as a writer who freed himself from the influence of
modernism and came to classical poetics, was shared by contemporaries and early
researchers of Vaginov who appealed to ideologically neutral cultural models. At the
same time, the unofficial culture had the opposite perception of Vaginov as a silenced
writer whose unknown collection was embedded in the series of “returned” texts of
the first half of the 20th century. The reception of Vaginov’s life and work by readers
and researchers was based on the Zvukopodobie. This is confirmed by the analysis
of the periodization of the writer’s work
