Репрезентация районов Москвы в территориальных интернет-сообществах в социальной сети «ВКонтакте»
Social media are not only a platform for discussing pressing issues, exchanging opinions and informing, but also a means of representation of urban areas. The content (posts and comments) of urban Internet communities contains linguistic markers that indicate how communicators describe and interpret the local characteristics of the district. The article presents the results of the study of the peculiarities of the representation of metropolitan districts in the content of Moscow communities in the VK social network. The authors have conducted a corpus analysis of the array of records and comments on public pages and groups of six Moscow districts that differ in socio-economic characteristics. It was revealed that the dominant semantic components of the representation of Moscow districts are those that express the territorial features of the location, as well as behavioural aspects of life in the district. In the communities of the capital's post-industrial cluster the main aspect of identity representation is also cultural. It is also noted that the nature of neighbourhood representation is the type of Internet community (managed publicks or groups controlled mainly by subscribers), which determines not so much thematic as content and meaning differences between the content of these social media.
