Taking into account the constitutional status of the President of the Russian Federation as the head of state (Article 80 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation), his control powers are of primary and strategic importance, and presidential control covers the main areas of state activity. Presidential control is a direction of external state control, which is a targeted activity and a system of normative and regulated measures implemented by the President of the Russian Federation and divisions of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation in order to establish compliance of the activities of bodies and other subjects of public authority with the requirements of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and legislation, the functions and tasks assigned to them, as well as the instructions given to them.
