The Public Council under Rosprirodnadzor hereby presents the second Report on current issues in the field of nature management and environmental protection. This year, the Report will consist of three sections:

1) A map of environmental organisations in Russia. The authors conducted a detailed inventory and compiled a rating of NGOs in the environmental field, addressing the following questions: who is currently the leader in shaping the environmental agenda, how many organisations are involved in environmental issues, what are the indicators of their financial well-being and media activity, and what are the most significant projects they are implementing.

2) Large-scale reform of the institute of extended responsibility of producers and importers. The authors consider the prerequisites and the course of the reform, and analyse the problems that have arisen based on the opinion of the direct participants in the reform (interviews with professional users are given).

3) Interaction of Rosprirodnadzor with civil society.The authors consider it necessary to regularly conduct an "inventory" of Rosprirodnadzor's activities in terms of interaction with the public, public organisations, entrepreneurs and business associations.
