The Public Council under Rosprirodnadzor is enhancing its capacity as an expert body by issuing its inaugural analytical report, a joint initiative with the Higher School of Economics that represents the community's perspective on pivotal environmental policy issues.The report meticulously examines the Service's engagement with civil society and the intricacies of its educational initiatives. It also delves into the role of Rosprirodnadzor in attaining national objectives within the realm of ecology, along with the state apparatus's oversight, supervisory, and preventive functions. In conclusion, the key areas for future development of environmental regulation and the work of Rosprirodnadzor have been identified by experts. It is submitted that an active public discussion will contribute to the harmonious and sustainable development of the country.
