Факторы возникновения и развития движения BLM в США на примере протестов 2020 г.
This article examines the phenomenon of the increased protest activity of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in the United States of America in the summer of 2020. The author examines BLM demonstrations through the prism of traditional political science concepts of the risks of revolutionary destabilization and studies the increased activity of the BLM, testing the hypothesis of a broader nature of this movement, which includes not only the struggle
the black population of the United States, but the social context, namely the protest of American society under the influence of a decrease in the effectiveness of the American political system, which is not sufficiently responsive to the demands and expectations of the least socially unprotected Americans, which leads them to become disillusioned with traditional methods of political struggle, radicalization and encourages the expression of their political demands through massive violent and non-violent street actions. Thus, the BLM motion can be considered a derivative of
the general process of deconsolidation of the democratic regime in the United States.
