Обращение служилых людей к правителю в России XVI–XVII вв.: происхождение и смысл
С. 91–95.
The author studies the origins and meaning of three elements which constituted an official address of nobles to the ruler in Russia in the 16-17th centuries: the title gosudar’, self-definition holop and the ritual of chelobit’e (“beating the head”). He concludes that all of them formed on the base of Old-Russian traditions, though influenced by foreign notions and practices.
