The book examines the problem of the high workload of Russian judicial system. The performance indicators of Russian courts are considered in the comparison with the Member states of the Council of Europe. Special attention is paid to the problem of small and undisputed cases. Based on the analysis of foreign experience the authors propose specific directions for the reform of judicial procedures and predict possible effects.
