The change in the linguistic landscape is very often a consequence of the acculturation process, which is spontaneously formed by the interaction of borderline linguistic cultures, but the most common reason for these changes is the purposeful language policy of states. The author uses the example of the CIS nations to try to answer the issue of how these processes interact and what patterns emerge from this interaction in this article
