The article discusses the research question of the usefulness and applicability of logic for working with clients within the framework of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) sessions. During CBT sessions, therapists seek to help their clients to identify maladaptive core beliefs, and then challenge these beliefs through several types of disputes.
