The article deals with the main problems of modern higher education in the Russian Federation related to the use of environmental conservation technology. The authors conclude that the consideration of the problems of using high-tech methods and tools in environmental education will expand in the near future, including through digital technologies. Examples of teaching environmental ecology in various specialties of higher education are also considered.
